Anyway, he has this great list of questions every Saturday that he calls the Saturday Six. Over the last few months, I've taken the time to check it out most weekends and answer them for myself. I've even sent a few on to friends. They are fun, always make me think and most times make me laugh out loud. Some of the questions are skewed towards aol journals users, but since I'm a lurker and not a poster, that's ok with me.
So, this is this weeks set...

READER'S CHOICE QUESTION #59 from Debi: When you shower, do you ever think of the Alfred Hitchcock movie, "Psycho?"

My answers:
1. It depends on which stage of childhood. Wizard of Oz, which sounds boring, but I remember watching it with my mom on TV every year. I watched it just 2 days ago (twice) with Eezers. Where the Red Fern Grows was a favorite in 3rd-4th grade and I rented it for Wink when she was a little older than that (after I made her read the book). Star Wars, of course. Which the DH makes, um, asks us to watch on a regular basis. Bad News Bears, which I rented a couple years ago and then wouldn't let Wink finish watching because it was so much more foul than I remembered. And Sixteen Candles from middle school, which I got from Netflix a couple of weeks ago, as we entered the 'mom's nostalgia' part of the list. I know it's alot, but these are major memories.
2. Enemy? I can't really think of one, except myself.
3. C. That and too many sexual references will take a blog off my favorites list in a second.

R.C. Not while I'm showering, but I have thought about it while showing a vacant house. I don't think I've ever made it thru that whole movie.

The movie question was fun for me. I hadn't thought about watching Wizard of Oz with my mom every year for a long time. We'd make homemade popcorn and curl up on the couch in our pj's to watch it together. Back in the days before VCRs and DVDs, when you couldn't just watch a movie whenever you wanted to. That long ago. You know, you do the teenage angst stuff and after that it sometimes takes a few years (or 20) to remember the fun that you had with your parents when you were a kid. It's good to remember. I hope my kids do when they get older. (cross fingers)
I walked today... about a mile. That's the second time this week. I like how I feel when I make time to exercise, but don't do it often enough. I'm trying to fix that. Wish me luck.
